During the recent annual NACURH conference in San Diego, the National Board of Directors selected Western Illinois University to host the 2011 NACURH conference.  On behalf of the conference staff, we are extremely thrilled for the opportunity to open our campus to the NACURH community for the first time in WIU’s history.

WIU has been actively involved with conferences in many ways.  To name a few, we have hosted: sub-regional conference/retreats, an ACUHO-I conference (back when they were hosted on campuses), Regional Board Members and National Executives.  In addition, WIU is consistently recognized through OTMs and bid submissions. Not only does our institution bring past success, our conference staff boasts a variety of experiences and energy that has shown to perform at nothing less than excellent.

Over the past several months, our team has been working extremely hard to develop a NACURH 2011 conference that would not only be educational, memorable, and fun, but would also be affordable.  Understanding the tough economic times that we are in, we are committed to provide a conference that every school can afford.  We would love nothing more than to be able to bring every NACURH member school to our conference in May 2011.
